New Grassroots Initiative Emerges

A few days ago, municipal portals in social media across the country were flooded with information about a new, grassroots social initiative. Its creators advertise themselves as ‘neighborhood watch’ or ‘citizens’ guard’.

They want to document cases of law violations on their own and invite people to cooperate. However, they themselves remain anonymous, and recruit willing helpers through private messages.

Cybersecurity Experts Raise Red Flags
