Appearing on Rymanowski Live on Tuesday, May 26, PiS vice-chairman Przemysław Czarnek denied rumors of American interference in Polish coalition politics while clarifying his party’s stance on potential future alliances.
Addressing Alleged American Pressure
Przemysław Czarnek dismissed claims that American officials are pressuring Władysław Kosiniak-Kamysz to abandon Donald Tusk in favor of a new coalition. Czarnek stated he heard no such reports during his week-long visit to the United States.
Stance on Grzegorz Braun
Czarnek confirmed that U.S. representatives have inquired about Grzegorz Braun and his political activities. He emphasized that PiS will not form a pact with Braun or his associates, specifically citing their controversial conduct and associations with figures known for insulting Pope John Paul II.
Internal Party Strategy and Future Alliances
The PiS official revealed he is meeting with a prominent politician this week to discuss potential cooperation, advocating for unity on the political right. Czarnek argued that PiS has successfully halted its polling decline and blamed recent internal party controversies, including comments by Mateusza Morawiecki, for hindering better electoral results.
