A 22-year-old unlicensed driver crashed his Volkswagen into a lamppost on Długa Street this morning while testing at nearly 2.0 per mille blood alcohol content during the long June weekend.

The Incident and Intervention

While driving on Długa Street in Konstancin-Jeziorna, a 22-year-old lost control of his vehicle, veered off the road, and struck a lamppost. An off-duty police officer from Piaseczno witnessed the crash and immediately intervened.

Legal Consequences

Breathalyzer testing revealed the driver had nearly 2.0 per mille of alcohol in his system and lacked a valid driver’s license. The man was taken into custody in Piaseczno for further processing.

He will face charges in court, with drunk driving carrying a potential penalty of up to three years in prison.
