Preliminary police investigations indicate that the 71-year-old driver of a Toyota passenger car struck his 6-year-old daughter while maneuvering into or out of a property. The exact circumstances remain unclear.
Emergency Response and Hospitalization
Two medical rescue teams and a police patrol were immediately dispatched to the scene. Paramedics attempted to resuscitate the child.
The girl was transported to a hospital with severe injuries, where she later died.
