Fire Engulfs Wooden Summer Cottage in Warsaw’s Wola District

On Thursday, December 25 at about 12:55 p.m., a wooden summer cottage in Warsaw’s Wola district was completely consumed by fire, leaving firefighters to battle smoke and flames.

The incident occurred on Thursday, December 25 around 12:55 p.m. at Brózka Street, within the Koło II allotment gardens in Warsaw’s Wola district. By the time firefighters arrived, the wooden cottage was entirely engulfed and heavy smoke drifted over the surrounding gardens.

Firefighters Respond

Firefighters deployed water streams directly at the burning elements, attacking the fire’s source. Three brigades—two from JRG 7 and one from the Fire Academy—along with a municipal fire crew, secured the area.

Clean‑up Operations

Following extinguishment, firefighters dismantled charred remains and searched for lingering embers. A thorough sweep of the wreckage was conducted to ensure no further danger and to confirm that no persons were injured.

No Casualties Reported

Four police patrols and the municipal fire crew remained on scene. According to reports, no injuries were sustained in the incident.
