Police Respond to Missing Cat
The city’s police quickly intervened after the owner reported that a Maine‑Coon cat had vanished a few days earlier. The owner, convinced the cat had been taken rather than wandered off, stressed that the animal was valued at 12,000 zl.
Surveillance Finds the Suspect
Officers reviewed local CCTV and identified a vehicle that stopped near the property. The driver disembarked, seized the cat from the street, and drove away. The footage linked the suspect to the theft.
Arrest and Return of the Cat
The police located the vehicle and apprehended the 33‑year‑old driver. Investigation revealed that the cat had been placed in his home. The animal was unharmed and immediately returned to its rightful owners.
