A single-family house in Krubin near Warsaw caught fire overnight, with one person hospitalized with burns.
Fire Breaks Out in Single-Family House
On the night of January 29-30, 2026, a fire occurred in a single-family house at Łabędziowa Street in Krubin (Wieliszew commune, Legionowski district). Two elderly people evacuated from the building, and a approximately 70-year-old man with burns was transported to the hospital.
Emergency Response Deployed
Fire services received the report about the fire at 01:05. A total of 13 fire brigade units were dispatched to the scene, including units from JRG Legionowo and JRG Nowy Dwór Mazowiecki, as well as volunteers from OSP Krubin, OSP Janówek-Góra, OSP Kałuszyn and OSP Chotomów. A medical rescue team, police, and power grid workers were also present.
Firefighters Battle Blaze
Upon arrival, services confirmed a developed fire in a single-family house with wooden-masonry construction. Firefighters watered the area affected by fire and simultaneously provided first aid to the victim. The man was then treated by a medical rescue team and taken to the hospital.
Property Damaged
Despite the action taken, the fire destroyed wooden elements of the building, including the roof. After extinguishing actions, firefighters carried out demolition work of the burned house. Neighboring buildings were protected from the fire.
Operation Concludes
The services’ actions on the property at Łabędziowa Street ended just after 7 AM, i.e., over six hours after the intervention began.
