US-Israel Attack on Iran
Earlier on Saturday, Israel and the United States launched coordinated attacks on Iran, a situation anticipated during weeks of negotiations. President Trump stated the attack aimed to “defend the American nation by eliminating direct threats from the Iranian regime.”
Iranian Retaliation and Leader’s Death
Iran responded by launching missiles at US allies. The US and Israel attacks killed Iran’s Supreme Leader, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, in Tehran, according to Iranian state media.
