Leszek Kłosiński Dead: Former Oceanic CEO Killed on Holiday

Leszek Kłosiński, former CEO of Polish cosmetics maker Oceanic, was killed during a holiday activity on 5 November, according to a statement from Grupa TDJ.

Tragic death during holiday

Information about Leszek Kłosiński’s death was released on Wednesday, 5 November, by Grupa TDJ. The company said the manager died tragically while on holiday, engaged in a sport that had been his great passion.

Career highlights

Leszek Kłosiński joined TDJ in September 2024 as a managing partner responsible for portfolio companies. He sat on the supervisory boards of PGO, Termiki, Bielenda Group and Invest TDJ Estate. Prior to that, he led Miya Cosmetics for three years and spent over two decades at Oceanic, one of Poland’s largest cosmetics producers, where he served as president of the board.

Tribute from TDJ

TDJ’s statement highlighted that Kłosiński was not only a business leader but also a person who could inspire and bring people together. “We are grateful for having worked and befriended Leszek,” the letter read. He left a profound void, unfinished ideas, plans and dreams, both professionally and personally. His funeral will be held in Sopot on 8 November.
