In 2022, the first instance court found Frasyniuk guilty of insulting officers and ordered the 15,000‑zł fine, but the sentence was suspended. The case was later referred to the higher court for a retrial.
Judge’s Rationale for Acquittal
Judge Piotr Górecki explained that the court could not find sufficient grounds to prosecute Frasyniuk for contempt of officers while they were on duty.
