On Thursday, January 22, before 22:00, RMF FM reported that a strong tremor occurred near Chrzanów. As reported by the station, the director of the Crisis Management Center in Chrzanów, Przemysław Jaśko, stated that “whole houses were shaking.” Residents reported possible damage to roof structures.

Possible Source Identified

RMF FM reports that the tremor most likely occurred in the “Janina” mine in Libiąż, which is located about eight kilometers from Chrzanów. At this moment, there is no information about any injuries.
