Gazeta.pl readers’ survey reveals majority abstain from church attendance, reflecting broader societal shifts.
Majority Skip Church Services
Over half (54.85%, as of January 22, 2026) of respondents in a Gazeta.pl poll declared they do not attend church at all. This response dominates all others, indicating significant detachment from regular religious practices among portal readers.
The second-largest group (29.89%) reported regular church attendance. This figure represents less than one-third of participants and is notably lower than those who never attend.
Occasional Visits Rare
Only approximately 15% of respondents selected the option “sometimes” when asked about church attendance. This demonstrates that sporadic participation is far less common than either complete absence or regular presence.
The distribution of responses suggests a growing polarization: a minority consistently participate, while a larger majority openly reject regular religious observance.
Broader Trend of Religious Decline
The Gazeta.pl survey results highlight a clear weakening of daily religious practices. Non-participation in services has become the dominant declaration, aligning with long-term social changes.
While not a national poll, the findings effectively reflect attitudes among readers actively following social and religious topics. For many, the Church no longer serves as a constant element in daily life.
