Media: Teacher Accused of Harassing Ukrainian Students, Victims Beaten

A teacher at a Słupsk school in Poland allegedly harassed Ukrainian students; the victims were later physically assaulted outside the school, prompting police investigation.

Teacher’s Verbal Harassment

Onet reported that a teacher at a school in Słupsk, Poland, allegedly insulted Ukrainian students who had attended the school earlier, telling them they would not pass the subject because they were Ukrainian. A lawyer, Dawid Dehnert, who was contacted by a parent, stated that the teacher’s remarks were captured on video recordings. The teacher’s hostility toward Ukrainian students calls for disciplinary action.

Physical Assault Outside the School

Ukrainian students were beaten outside the school by older students. One attacker threatened the victim and punched him in the face, while another struck him on the back of the head. Both sustained serious injuries, including a broken collarbone and a suspected concussion. The initial police response was delayed, but the next day officers received the complaint, secured surveillance footage and medical documentation, and a parent recounted that “one held him and another beat him.”

Police Investigation

Policja secured the surveillance footage, medical records, and interviewed witnesses. Dehnert’s letter to the school outlined the attackers’ actions and prompted a review of the school’s oversight.

Potential School Shooting Plot

Separately, the Internal Security Agency reported that a 14‑year‑old named Maciej had planned a school shooting, allegedly compiling a list of ten people to be “terminated.” The case remains under investigation.

Responding to Witnessed Violence

Authorities advise residents to assist potential victims and report suspicions to police, social assistance centers or the Blue Line at 800 12 00 02. Witnesses are urged to intervene and provide support, as such interventions can initiate recovery and ensure safety.
