Series of water supply outages in Warsaw and surrounding areas leaves at least 128 properties without water amid freezing temperatures.
Multiple Water Supply Outages Across Warsaw
The morning frost in Warsaw, measured at -12.8°C at 9:00 AM, coincided with a series of water supply failures operated by MPWiK. According to data published in the emergency shutdown list, a total of 13 failures have been recorded: in 6 districts of Warsaw and in two suburban localities (Michałowice and Piastów). At least 128 addresses are without water.
MPWiK notes that persisting negative temperatures negatively affect infrastructure and can lead to failures, with services monitoring the situation around the clock and removing reported defects. Reports can be submitted 24/7 to the water emergency number 994.
