A serious accident occurred on Południowa Street in Zielonki-Parcel, Warsaw West County. Preliminary findings indicate the pedestrian was walking on the sidewalk before suddenly entering the roadway at an unmarked location and being struck by a Mercedes.

Emergency Response and Resuscitation

The impact was severe, causing the pedestrian to suffer sudden cardiac arrest. Firefighters and medical personnel on the scene performed resuscitation efforts and successfully restored the man’s vital functions.

Due to his critical condition, the victim was airlifted to the hospital by the Air Ambulance (LPR) helicopter, Ratownik12. Firefighters from OSP Stare Babice reported coordinating the rescue with the LPR, ZRM, the Warsaw West County State Fire Service, and the police.

Investigation and Traffic Status

The Mercedes driver was sober at the time of the collision. Police are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident, including the behavior of the road users. Południowa Street was temporarily blocked and later reopened for shuttle traffic.
