Pedestrian Struck in Stanisławów Pierwszy; Driver’s License Suspended

A 65-year-old woman was hospitalized after being struck by a 68-year-old driver in a Peugeot while legally crossing a marked pedestrian walkway in Stanisławów Pierwszy on May 25.

Details of the Incident

The collision occurred around 1:15 PM in the Legionowo district on Jana Kazimierza Street, near the intersection with Przyleśna Street. The vehicle was traveling toward Nieporęt when it struck the pedestrian.

Emergency Response and Medical Condition

Two medical rescue teams and police were dispatched to the scene. After receiving initial treatment, the 65-year-old woman was transported to a hospital for further care.

Investigation and Traffic Control

Police confirmed that both the pedestrian and the 68-year-old driver were sober at the time of the accident. Officers confiscated the driver’s license pending further investigation.

Jana Kazimierza Street was temporarily closed to traffic to facilitate rescue operations and police evidence collection. The Legionowo police are continuing their investigation into the circumstances of the collision.
