Tragic Incident in Wieruchów

Tragic event in Wieruchów, West Warsaw County. A 34-year-old man climbed a high-voltage pylon where he was electrocuted. He then lost his balance and fell from a great height onto a nearby field. Despite resuscitation, his life could not be saved.

The incident took place in the afternoon on Sochaczewska Street in Wieruchów, in the Ożarów Mazowiecki commune. Emergency services were immediately dispatched to the scene.

Emergency Response and Failed Resuscitation

Preliminary findings indicate that for unknown reasons, the 34-year-old man climbed the high-voltage pylon. At one point he was struck by electricity, resulting in him losing his balance and falling onto the field below.

Fire department units, a medical rescue team, and a Medical Air Rescue helicopter crew were dispatched to the operation. Rescuers began fighting for the victim’s life. Despite ongoing resuscitation, it was impossible to restore his vital functions, and a doctor pronounced the 34-year-old dead.

Investigation Into the Cause of the Tragedy

The area where the tragedy occurred was secured. Police officers are working at the scene under the supervision of a prosecutor, conducting inspections, securing evidence, and gathering information needed to reconstruct the exact course of events.
