On July 21, the Warsaw Metropolitan Police announced the arrest of a 38-year-old individual linked to a local hooligan group after officers intercepted him while he was transporting 6kg of marijuana.

Police Operation Against Hooligan Circles
The arrest was conducted by officers from the Metropolitan Police Department for Combating Hooligan Crime. Police stated that this action represents a significant blow to the local hooligan environment, successfully preventing a large quantity of illicit substances from reaching the market.
Search of Residence and Formal Charges
During a subsequent search of the suspect’s apartment, officers discovered additional drugs, a heat sealer, and a stolen identity card. The suspect was taken into police custody following the seizure of these items.
On the following day, the Warsaw-Mokotów District Prosecutor’s Office filed three charges against the man, including the transport of a significant quantity of narcotics for distribution, possession of additional marijuana, and concealment of another person’s identity document. The court has ordered the suspect to be held in custody for three months.
Context of Large-Scale Narcotics Enforcement
This arrest follows a major operation in April, where the same specialized police unit detained the leader of a Warsaw-based hooligan combat group in the Bemowo district.
During that operation, officers raided an apartment functioning as a drug warehouse and seized nearly 150 kilograms of narcotics and psychotropic substances, which have an estimated market value of approximately 10 million PLN.
