Public Opinion Shift: Karol Nawrocki’s Presidential Approval Ratings

A new SW Research survey conducted for Onet reveals that President Karol Nawrocki currently holds a narrow lead in public approval, with 40.02 percent of Poles viewing his performance positively.

Approval Ratings in the Latest Survey

President Karol Nawrocki’s performance is viewed positively by 40.02 percent of respondents, according to a recent SW Research poll conducted for Onet. However, the data also highlights a significant opposition, with 38.2 percent of participants expressing a negative view of his presidency.

Notably, a substantial portion of the electorate remains undecided. Approximately 21.6 percent of those surveyed indicated they have no clear stance on whether they approve of Nawrocki’s performance.

Strengthening Political Standing

Recent polling suggests a consolidation of the president’s position within the Polish political landscape. The current findings align with a broader trend of increased support observed in previous months.

In a late June IBRiS survey, also commissioned by Onet, Nawrocki recorded a surge in trust, with 54.8 percent of respondents expressing confidence in his leadership. This marked an 8.4 percentage point increase in positive evaluations compared to May.

Survey Methodology

The SW Research poll was conducted on July 8, 2026, using computer-assisted web interviewing (CAWI) via the SW Panel. The study involved a representative sample of 809 adult Poles, weighted by gender, age, and place of residence.
