Following an intensive police investigation, a 46-year-old Georgian national has been arrested and charged with a brazen robbery after forcibly stealing a bag containing a large sum of money from an elderly man.

The Incident
Police launched an investigation immediately after a 69-year-old man reported that a stranger had approached his car near a bank and forcibly snatched a satchel containing his documents and a large sum of money. The suspect fled the scene in a vehicle shortly after the confrontation.
Investigation and Capture
Grodzisk detectives analyzed local surveillance footage to identify the suspect. Following extensive observation of an automotive workshop in a neighboring district, officers located and arrested the 46-year-old Georgian national whose appearance matched the recorded evidence.
Legal Consequences
Evidence gathered during the investigation confirms the suspect stole approximately 45,000 PLN from the victim. At the request of the district prosecutor, the court has ordered the man to be held in temporary detention for three months. He faces up to eight years in prison for the crime.
