The incident occurred after 7:00 PM when the driver, traveling from Grucele toward Zabiele, entered the railway crossing despite the approaching locomotive. The force of the impact threw the vehicle into a nearby field. The victim was the sole occupant of the car, and emergency responders were unable to save him.
