Fatal Collision Between Motorcycle and Truck in Borsuki Leaves 30-Year-Old Dead

A 30-year-old motorcyclist died on the spot after colliding with a Scania truck on a county road in Borsuki, Łosice County, during a left-turn maneuver performed by the truck driver.

Circumstances of the Fatal Collision

The incident occurred after 3:00 PM on a county road in Borsuki. A 30-year-old resident of Biała Podlaska County, riding a Yamaha motorcycle, collided with a Scania truck driven by a 63-year-old resident of Łuków.

Preliminary findings indicate that the collision took place as the truck driver was executing a left-hand turn while traveling in the same direction as the motorcyclist. The injuries sustained by the rider were fatal, and he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Investigation and Traffic Restrictions

Police officers conducted an alcohol test on the 63-year-old truck driver, which confirmed that he was sober. Authorities, under the supervision of a prosecutor, are currently securing the site and gathering evidence to determine the precise causes and course of the accident.

The county road in Borsuki is currently closed to traffic in both directions. Police expect the blockage to last two to three hours and are advising motorists to seek alternative routes to avoid the area.
