Warsaw Police Apprehend 19-Year-Old Dealer and Client in Praga-Północ

Neighborhood police officers in Warsaw’s Praga-Północ district arrested a 19-year-old drug dealer and his 32-year-old client during a Friday operation at 17A Brzeska Street, seizing illegal substances and charging both men.

Caught in the Act

Patrol officers from the Warsaw VI District Police Command conducted a routine check at a courtyard on Brzeska Street. They caught a 19-year-old in the act of selling amphetamines to a 32-year-old man.

The dealer attempted to discard his remaining stock by throwing packages through a grated window into an abandoned building. Firefighters were called to assist police in entering the property to secure the evidence.

Criminal Charges and Judicial Prohibitions

Upon investigation, it was discovered that the 19-year-old was already under a prosecutor-issued prohibition forbidding him from entering that specific courtyard due to a separate ongoing case. Police seized his mobile phone and over 1,200 PLN in cash.

Forensic testing confirmed that the 32-year-old had purchased amphetamines, while the dealer was in possession of heroin, marijuana, and amphetamines. Both individuals face drug possession charges, with the 19-year-old facing additional charges for drug trafficking.

Legal Proceedings

Both men were transported to the police station for questioning. The Warsaw-Praga Północ District Prosecutor’s Office is overseeing the investigation. The suspects face up to three years in prison.
