End of the Paper Slip Era
Poczta Polska has launched a free mobile application designed to handle digital correspondence from home. The platform provides 24/7 access to two primary services: e-Delivery, for free communication with public institutions, and e-Registered, a commercial service for secure digital correspondence between businesses and private individuals.
Legal Standing and Security
Unlike standard email, both services carry full legal weight by providing verified sender and recipient identification, as well as time-stamped delivery confirmation. This system effectively removes the necessity of collecting paper notices or visiting branches in person.
Integration of Postal Services
Kinga Dobrzyń, Director of Digital Products at Poczta Polska, noted that the application is a key step in simplifying daily operations for both individual and business clients. The app serves as a centralized hub for managing digital letters, saving users significant time on traditional mailing processes.
Future Development Plans
The current release represents the first phase of the application’s deployment. Poczta Polska plans to systematically incorporate additional features, with the goal of providing a unified, secure interface for managing both traditional and digital postal services directly from a smartphone.
