Płażyński Questions Morawiecki’s Intentions

PiS MP Kacper Płażyński recently claimed that Mateusz Morawiecki is attempting to create the impression of being pushed out of the party. Płażyński argued that Morawiecki is dividing the opposition for personal ambition, specifically targeting the “Rozwój Plus” association.

Płażyński questioned why Morawiecki feels his ambitions cannot be realized within PiS, asserting that Morawiecki has always received full support from the party environment and its media outlets.

Horała Defends the Faction and Fires Back

Marcin Horała, PiS MP and vice-president of “Rozwój Plus,” rejected Płażyński’s accusations, labeling them as lies and manipulation. He defended Morawiecki’s commitment to the party, noting his support for Karol Nawrocki’s presidential candidacy.

Horała urged Płażyński and his supporters to stop pushing their colleagues out of the party. He emphasized that the group intends to continue their work to broaden the party’s base with new members and environments.

Accusations of Disgusting Political Conduct

Płażyński responded to Horała’s claims in a television interview, condemning the use of his family’s health struggles as a political tool. Płażyński recounted his wife’s medical emergency during the election campaign to refute allegations of lack of commitment.

He described Horała’s insinuation that he did not participate in the campaign as “disgusting,” noting that he had received personal thanks from Karol Nawrocki for his efforts despite the personal crisis.

Jaki and Szynkowski vel Sęk Exchange Harsh Words

The conflict intensified when MEP Patryk Jaki referred to Horała’s comments as “gutter” rhetoric. This prompted an angry response from Szymon Szynkowski vel Sęk, who criticized Jaki’s shifting political history, including his past ties to the Civic Platform.

Szynkowski vel Sęk demanded an apology, accusing Jaki of working to the detriment of PiS. Jaki retorted by standing his ground and calling for an apology directed at Płażyński and his family, citing his own electoral success as evidence of his effectiveness.

Kaczyński Calls for Calm

In light of the escalating public disputes, Jarosław Kaczyński addressed the internal discord on social media. He urged party members to realize that the enemy lies elsewhere and called for a “sip of cold water” to soothe rising tensions.
