19-Year-Old Faces Six Charges After Ramming Police Car and Fleeing Control

A 19-year-old resident of Jadów was arrested after violating a driving ban, ramming a police vehicle during a pursuit, and endangering his passengers in Stare Lipiny on July 14, 2026.

Illegal Maneuvers and Pursuit

On July 14, 2026, officers from the Wołomin District Police spotted a Nissan driven by a 19-year-old who was already under a legally mandated driving ban. When officers signaled for a stop using lights and sirens, the driver initially complied before suddenly reversing his vehicle and attempting to escape.

The ensuing pursuit saw the suspect intentionally collide with a marked police cruiser. Despite the damage caused, he continued to flee with two passengers in the vehicle, putting their lives and health at direct risk.

Arrest and Legal Consequences

After abandoning the vehicle in a forest and fleeing on foot, the suspect was located and apprehended following an intensive search. He now faces six criminal charges, including driving despite a court-ordered ban, failing to stop for police, and endangering passengers.

The Wołomin District Court has placed the suspect under police supervision. The case is currently under the oversight of the District Prosecutor’s Office in Wołomin, and the 19-year-old faces up to five years in prison.
