Eligibility and Status Requirements
The Large Family Card program is governed by Article 4 of the Act. Eligible families are defined as those where parents or a spouse have raised at least three children. Once this status is granted, it does not expire, regardless of the children’s current age. This includes families who have experienced the loss of a child, provided the statutory criteria were initially met.
Exclusions and Parental Rights
Eligibility is not universal for all parents of three children. Rights to the card are forfeited by parents who have been deprived of parental authority by a final court judgment. Similar restrictions apply to those whose authority was limited by placing children in foster care due to the improper fulfillment of caregiving duties.
Extended Unemployment Protection
A key 2026 integration links the Large Family Card with anti-unemployment systems. Holders are now entitled to an obligatory extension of unemployment benefits from the standard 180 days to 365 days. Furthermore, labor offices are mandated to implement a fast-track activation procedure for cardholders.
Benefit Calculations Based on Work History
Unemployment benefit amounts for cardholders vary based on documented contribution periods. Payments are categorized into three brackets: under 5 years, between 5 and 20 years, and over 20 years of work experience, with differing rates for the first three months versus the subsequent period.
Discounts and Administrative Fees
The card continues to provide savings through strategic partners, including retailers like Lidl and Auchan, entertainment providers like Helios, and medical services such as LuxMed and Vision Express. While digital and traditional card formats are available, selecting both versions incurs a processing fee of 10 PLN.
