The Report on Karol Nawrocki

The dispute began when Płażyński criticized Mateusza Morawiecki for intentionally dividing PiS. In response, Marcin Horała accused his regional colleague of not only failing to support Karol Nawrocki’s presidential campaign but also of preparing and distributing a report detailing the future president’s controversial ties.

The report, fragments of which were published by Onet during the presidential campaign, described Nawrocki’s connections to criminal and neo-Nazi circles in the Tri-City, including gangster Olgierd L. Nawrocki dismissed the report as a profound manipulation.

Pre-Litigation Demands and Defiant Stance

Kacper Płażyński labeled the accusations regarding the authorship of the report as a lie, announcing a pre-litigation demand for an apology and a 50 thousand zloty payment to the Polska Łączy foundation. Horała subsequently declared in TVP Info that he would not apologize because he has nothing to apologize for.

Horała stated that he is waiting for a court trial where statements can be examined under the penalty of criminal liability for truthfulness. He emphasized that the situation arose because he was angered by Płażyński lecturing Morawiecki on party loyalty from a position of moral superiority.
