Ardanowski: Kaczyński Treats PiS as a Private Party and Destroys Coalition Partners

Former agriculture minister Jan Krzysztof Ardanowski stated that PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński treats the party as his private property and systematically dismantles political allies after securing power.

Accusations Against Kaczyński’s Political Tactics

Ardanowski, who left the party two years ago, stated that Kaczyński treats PiS like a private party and destroys coalition partners after winning. Speaking to Newsmax Polska, Ardanowski noted that the party leader fails to learn from experience despite long being considered a visionary and strategist.

He emphasized that Kaczyński has always acted schematically by imposing rules on coalition partners and then destroying those formations once power was achieved. Ardanowski pointed to the fates of Samoobrona, LPR, and more recently Gowin as examples of leadership destruction and attempts to absorb MPs and electorates.

Right-Wing Fragmentation and the Need for Unity

Due to these tactics, Ardanowski is not surprised that formations like Confederation and Korona emerged on the right against Kaczyński’s will, alongside numerous smaller patriotic and independence-minded movements. He argued that PiS can no longer claim to be the sole representative of the Polish right and suggested the leader should pursue a non-aggression pact.

According to Ardanowski, a common denominator and a non-aggression pact ensuring no mutual attacks in upcoming elections could give the Polish right a chance to win. He cited the presidential candidacy of President Nawrocki and agricultural support as a model of success, while warning that the leader insists on playing by rules that end tragically for smaller environments.

PiS Leadership Ultimatums on Political Associations

Last Wednesday, the leadership of Law and Justice ordered its members to withdraw from political associations by Thursday, July 23, under threat of expulsion. The directive targeted initiatives such as Mateusz Morawiecki’s “Rozwój Plus” and Jacek Sasin’s “Po pierwsze Polska.”

Sasin announced the closure of his association on the same day, whereas Morawiecki declared his intention to remain in PiS while continuing to develop his association to secure the victory of an ambitious Poland.
