Three-Car Collision on S2 Expressway
On Wednesday, July 22, at 7:38 PM, the State Fire Service command center in Warsaw received a report regarding a three-car collision on the S2 route. The incident occurred between the Wał Miedzeszyński and Patriotów junctions, on the roadway heading toward Terespol.
Emergency Response and Medical Aid
Three fire units—two from Rescue and Firefighting Unit No. 12 and one from the Stara Miłosna Volunteer Fire Department—were dispatched to the scene, along with medical rescue teams and the police. Firefighters secured the area and the three vehicles involved.
A total of six people, including three children, were traveling in the cars. Following medical examinations of all participants, paramedics decided to transport two individuals to the hospital.
Police Investigation and Traffic Disruption
Further operations at the scene were conducted by police officers, who performed measurements, documented the site, and worked to determine the exact course and mechanism of the collision.
The incident caused major disruptions on the S2 route, leaving only a single lane open for traffic on the roadway leading toward the Lubelska junction.
