Massive Fire Ravages Ford Showroom and Service Center in Warsaw’s Targówek District

A massive fire broke out early Tuesday morning at a Ford car dealership on Krasnobrodzka Street in Warsaw, engulfing the entire building and several vehicles while sending thick clouds of smoke over the city.

Morning Blaze at PGD OMC Ford Facility

Shortly after 5:00 a.m. on Krasnobrodzkiej Street in Warsaw’s Targówek district, a fire broke out in a facility housing a service center and a Ford car dealership belonging to PGD OMC. The fire engulfed the entire building as well as more than a dozen vehicles parked outside.

Dozens of Firefighters Deployed to Battle Intense Flames

Dozens of fire brigades were dispatched to the scene, where responders immediately initiated reconnaissance and firefighting operations. Due to the scale of the fire and the intensity of the flames, firefighters are currently able to apply water streams only from a greater distance.

Thick Smoke Visible Across Warsaw as Operations Continue

The entire building is fully engulfed in flames, and dense clouds of smoke are rising over Targówek, remaining visible from distant parts of Warsaw. Firefighting operations are expected to last for many hours.

Focus on Containment and Securing the Area

Firefighters are concentrating on bringing the fire under control and limiting its spread. At this stage, an intensive firefighting operation and securing the area around the burning facility are underway.
