Sasin Fires Back at Morawiecki Over PiS Infighting and Tusk Advisor Past

Following sharp criticism from former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki regarding internal party divisions, Jacek Sasin hit back on social media by recalling Morawiecki’s past ties to Donald Tusk.

Morawiecki Criticizes PiS Leadership and Infiltration

On Friday morning on wPolsce 24, Mateusz Morawiecki commented on the split within Law and Justice (PiS). The former prime minister stated that a group of intriguers had gone to Nowogrodzka to pressure the party leader and claim everything needs to change, just as PiS was gaining momentum.

Morawiecki also addressed a Thursday meeting with Jarosław Kaczyński, expressing surprise at the presence of Jacek Sasin during what was supposed to be a one-on-one talk. He accused Sasin of engaging in intrigues and claimed that the party has effectively become Jacek Sasin’s Solidarna Polska.

Sasin Responds on Social Media

Jacek Sasin responded to the remarks on platform X, pointing out that he has never belonged to any party other than Law and Justice. He then criticized Morawiecki for his past role as an advisor to Donald Tusk during a time when late President Lech Kaczyński was facing severe attacks.

Sasin added that Morawiecki is now using similar methods by portraying the rest of the party as backward and out of touch, concluding that the former prime minister learned his lessons from Tusk exceptionally well.
