Body of a Man Found Near the Vistula River Bank in Łomianki

In the afternoon hours, emergency services were alerted to a man’s body found partially in the water and on stones along the Vistula River bank in Łomianki.

Discovery of the Body

In the afternoon hours, services were alerted to a body of a man located near the bank of the Vistula River in Łomianki, in the West Warsaw County. The corpse was lying partially in the water and partially on the stones located at the shoreline.

Intervention of Emergency Services

The fire department and police were dispatched to the scene. After the services arrived and checked the man’s condition, it was determined that it was already too late to provide him with help. A doctor confirmed his death only after a few hours.

Police Investigation and Site Inspection

The area was secured against access by unauthorized persons. Police officers and a forensic technician conducted an inspection of the location where the body was disclosed.

Unclear Circumstances of Death

At the current stage, it is not known how long the body was by the river or under what circumstances the man’s death occurred, but a fainting spell is preliminarily spoken of.

Removal of the Remains

The body was secured by a funeral parlor.
