Ursynów Garbage Shelter Fire Engulfs Structure and Damages Cars

A morning garbage shelter fire at the intersection of Braci Wagów and Belgradzka streets in Warsaw’s Ursynów district destroyed the structure and damaged three nearby cars.

Morning Fire at Ursynów Intersection

Before noon at the intersection of Braci Wagów and Belgradzkiej streets in Warsaw’s Ursynów district, a fire broke out in a garbage shelter. When the first fire units arrived at the scene, the entire structure of the shelter was already engulfed in flames, and the fire also damaged passenger cars parked in the immediate vicinity.

Firefighting Operation and Vehicle Damage

Firefighters secured the area and proceeded with firefighting operations, preventing the fire from spreading further. The shelter burned down completely, and three parked passenger vehicles were scorched due to high temperatures and flames, while thick, black smoke rose over surrounding buildings and was visible from a distance.

Emergency Response and Investigation

Two fire department units and the police worked at the scene. Officers will determine the exact causes and circumstances of the fire, though it is not yet known how the fire started.
