Man and Woman Arrested in Płock County Over Shooting of 41-Year-Old

Within hours, police in Płock arrested a man and a woman following a Sunday shooting from a moving vehicle in Koszelówka that sent a 41-year-old victim to the hospital.

Shooting on Jeziorna Street

The incident occurred on July 26 around 4:00 PM on Jeziorna Street in Koszelówka. Preliminary police findings indicated that the shot was likely fired from a passing vehicle, which then fled the scene. The injured man was transported to the hospital.

Investigation and Evidence Recovery

Police officers, including an investigative team, worked at the scene to conduct inspections and secure traces and evidence. On the very same day, the 41-year-old was discharged from the hospital, and officers performed necessary procedural actions with the victim.

Rapid Operational Tracking

Parallel to the on-site investigation, extensive operational activities were conducted to identify the perpetrator. Just hours later, police picked up the trail of individuals potentially connected to the incident.

Arrests and Weapon Seizure

The following morning, detectives detained a 41-year-old woman and a 43-year-old man, both residents of Płock County. At their residence, police discovered and secured three firearms, including the pneumatic weapon from which the shot was likely fired, alongside the vehicle used by the suspects.

The compiled evidence materials will be forwarded to the District Prosecutor’s Office in Gostynin.
