Fatal Collision Between Car and Truck on DK62 Leaves One Dead and One Injured

A tragic morning crash on National Road 62 in Puste Łąki on Tuesday claimed one life and hospitalized the truck driver after a head-on collision.

Today at around 6:45 AM on national road no. 62 in the town of Puste Łąki in Wyszków County, a tragic accident occurred involving a passenger car and a truck, resulting in one fatality and one person transported to the hospital.

Loss of Control on a Road Curve

Preliminary police findings indicate that the driver of the Honda was traveling from Łochów toward Wyszków. On a curve in the road, he lost control of the vehicle, drifted into the oncoming lane, and collided head-on with an approaching Volvo truck.

Fatal Impact and Ongoing Identification

The force of the impact was very high. Following the collision, both vehicles veered off the roadway and came to a stop in a roadside ditch. Unfortunately, the driver of the Honda died at the scene, and procedures are underway to establish his personal details.

Truck Driver Hospitalized with Injuries

The 55-year-old truck driver sustained bodily injuries and was transported to the hospital.
