Joint Police Operation Leads to Arrest of 32-Year-Old with Mephedrone and Heroin in Warsaw

A joint operation by Warsaw VI district police officers at 7 Wileńska Street in Praga Północ resulted in the arrest of a 32-year-old man possessing mephedrone and heroin, facing up to 3 years in prison.

Targeted Drug Crime Operation on Wileńska Street

Officers from the Operational and Reconnaissance Department and the Intelligence and Patrol Department of the Warsaw VI Police District prepared joint operations in the Wileńska Street area aimed at combating drug crime, paying special attention to the courtyard located at number 7.

The activity of the 32-year-old, known to them for his criminal activity at this address, was a signal for them to begin a detailed inspection.

Discovery of Narcotics and Suspect Arrest

In the door wing of the staircase and in a hole in the building’s facade, operational officers found 34 packets containing various substances. Having no doubt that the 32-year-old was participating in illegal activity, they detained him, while also securing his mobile phone and money found in his possession.

Subsequently, police officers searched the rooms located in the basement, where they found a plastic bag containing 35 packets of beige powder, with the operations also involving a police handler with a dog specialized in drug detection.

Laboratory Analysis and Formal Charges

Police officers transported the detained 32-year-old to the headquarters, where a technician inspected the substances secured during these operations, and chemical composition testing proved they were heroin and mephedrone.

Officers from the Investigative and Detective Department, based on the materials gathered in the case, presented the 32-year-old with a charge of drug possession, for which the man faces up to 3 years of imprisonment under the supervision of the Warsaw Praga-Północ District Prosecutor’s Office.
