Around noon at Starzyński Roundabout in Praga-Północ, damage to the overhead traction network occurred. The failure caused serious disruptions to public transport operations, resulting in a broken pantograph on one of the trams.

Technical Response and Route Restoration

Trams were unable to pass through the roundabout for nearly an hour. Technical brigades from Tramwaje Warszawskie were dispatched to the site, secured the failure area, and began removing the torn elements of the network. Following the completion of technical work, tram traffic was restored around 13:30, though passengers experienced subsequent delays and route changes for some time. The causes and exact circumstances of the overhead network damage are currently being clarified.

WTP reported that due to technical reasons in the Starzyński Roundabout area, disruptions affected tram lines 1, 6, 16, 18, 20, and 28, which were redirected to detour routes.
