Jarosław Kaczyński will not be happy as another MP leaves the ranks of Law and Justice to join Mateusz Morawiecki’s “Rozwój Plus” association. Piotr Uściński announced his decision via the X platform on Wednesday morning, stating his desire for Poland to return to the path of development stimulated by the United Right government of Mateusz Morawiecki and concluding with the phrase “Hail Great Poland”.

Disciplinary Actions and Party Committee Decision

PiS Spokesman Rafał Bochenek announced on Tuesday that the PiS Political Committee approved a list of 44 individuals who failed to submit the required declaration regarding non-membership in associations by the deadline, or used the wrong form. Bochenek stated that the matter has been forwarded to the party disciplinary spokesman to handle each case individually in accordance with formal and legal procedures.

Morawiecki Responds to Committee Actions

Former Prime Minister Mateusz Morawiecki described the post-meeting statement from the PiS Political Committee as an attempt to drag out a bad series, accepting that they have been removed from the party as previously indicated by PiS leader Jarosław Kaczyński. Earlier on Tuesday, Morawiecki told Polsat News that further transfers of PiS politicians to the “Rozwój plus” association were possible, noting he had ongoing talks with a concluded one to be announced the following day.
