Drunk Driver Rolls Car in Parzniew Despite Active Driving Ban

A drunk driver crashed and rolled his Mercedes on Rzeczna Street in Parzniew on Sunday evening, police confirming he had over 1.5 per mille of alcohol and an active driving ban.

On Sunday, August 2, at around 9:40 PM on Rzeczna Street in Parzniew, Pruszków County, a traffic incident occurred. The driver of a Mercedes lost control of the vehicle, veered off the roadway, and subsequently rolled over.

Emergency Services Deployment

Fire services, police, and a medical rescue team were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, emergency services found that all occupants had left the vehicle under their own power, with no injuries requiring hospitalization. According to initial findings, the driver failed to adjust his speed to road conditions.

Drunk Driving and Driving Ban

Police tested the driver with a breathalyzer, revealing he had slightly over 1.5 per mille of alcohol in his exhaled breath. During data checks, officers also established that he possessed an active court-ordered driving ban.

Detention of the Polish Citizen

The driver, a Polish citizen, was detained. Following sobering up, further procedural activities are being conducted with him, and a court will decide his future fate. The damaged Mercedes was towed to a police impound lot.
