Following reports that millions in flood relief funds were misallocated to companies in a single village, PiS politicians have announced a formal request to the Central Anticorruption Bureau and parliamentary controls.

PiS Requests CBA Investigation
PiS announced it is submitting a formal request to the Central Anticorruption Bureau to investigate the flood relief fund allocation, noting that the bureau has allegedly been examining the matter since spring without visible progress.
The party has issued specific inquiries to the CBA regarding document security, the identity of individuals who verified the applications, and the legal basis for the decisions made.
Accusations Against Civic Coalition
PiS MP Michał Moskal stated that wherever Civic Coalition Secretary General Marcin Kierwiński appears, scandals follow, accusing KO activists of corruptly stealing from ordinary, affected people in need of help.
Moskal announced the launch of parliamentary controls at the Ministry of Interior and Administration to question what Marcin Kierwiński—who served as the plenipotentiary for solving the flood crisis—did regarding support distribution and why funds were allocated to non-flooded areas.
Allocation of Relief Funds and Suspensions
According to Wirtualna Polska, 4.5 million PLN in flood aid from the Karkonosze Regional Development Agency went to three companies in a single village: one belonging to the husband of KO deputy head Anna Konieczyńska, another to a neighbor, and a third to a local television owner. WP revealed that the submitted application documents lacked convincing photographic evidence of damages.
Michał Jaros, head of the Lower Silesian KO structures, stated that Konieczyńska has been suspended from party membership and faces a party tribunal.
Government Responses and Legal Warnings
Deputy Foreign Minister Marcin Bosacki commented on Radio ZET that the services have been clarifying the matter since April.
Bosacki emphasized that if any politician from KO abuses power, steals, or commits other crimes, they will certainly be punished according to the law.
