The video surfaced on social media in mid-April. The creator prepared “radioactive food” using kitchen waste, lemons, and chemicals before feeding the mixture to the dog.
Officers from the Rzesz贸w Municipal Police Headquarters, under the supervision of the District Prosecutor’s Office, are investigating the incident. Investigators have not confirmed the crime occurred within Rzesz贸w or its county, but are actively working to locate the animal and the author of the video.
Identification Efforts and School Involvement
Police have released photos of the dog to assist in identifying its owner and current location. The release follows widespread online outrage, with reports suggesting the video creator might be a student from Rzesz贸w School Complex No. 3.
The school has issued a formal statement confirming they have filed a police report regarding the association between their institution and the anonymous social media account. Additionally, Deputy Mayor of Rzesz贸w, Krzysztof Sta艅ko, has officially reported the matter to the prosecutor’s office.
