A 44-year-old Russian man was shot dead on Królowej Jadwigi Street in Biała Podlaska on Monday morning, prompting a police investigation that has resulted in the detention of three individuals.

The incident occurred on Monday, June 15, shortly before 10:00 AM. A 44-year-old Russian citizen died after being struck by gunfire. The perpetrator fled the scene immediately following the attack.

Investigation and Police Detentions

Reports indicate that police have detained three individuals in connection with the incident, including a man employed in the transportation sector. Two individuals remain in custody, while one has been released. Authorities confirmed that the primary suspect in the murder has not yet been apprehended.

Victim Identified as Political Cartoonist

The victim has been identified as Semyon Skrepetski, a cartoonist known for his vocal criticism of Russian President Vladimir Putin. Skrepetski resided in the city with his family. The artist had previously gained attention during a June performance in front of the Russian Embassy in Berlin, where he displayed caricatures of Joseph Stalin and Vladimir Putin.
