Serious Collision in Rembertów: E-Scooter Rider Collides With Car

An 18-year-old e-scooter rider was hospitalized on Saturday evening in Warsaw’s Rembertów district after a high-impact collision with a Mazda at the intersection of Listonoszy and Magneta streets.

The Incident and Emergency Response

The accident occurred around 7:00 PM on Saturday, June 13, at the intersection of Listonoszy and Magneta streets. A 35-year-old woman driving a Mazda was turning left when she collided with an 18-year-old riding an electric scooter along Magneta Street.

The force of the impact caused significant damage to the car’s front bumper and headlights. Emergency services arrived on the scene, and the teenager, who was wearing a helmet, was transported to the hospital with bodily injuries. The driver of the car was sober.

Ongoing Investigation

Officers from the Road Traffic Department arrived to secure evidence and document the scene. Police are currently investigating the circumstances of the collision, including the behavior of the participants and the traffic organization at the intersection.
