NATO’s Alleged Military Preparations

The Russian leader asserted that while NATO countries previously limited their involvement to supporting the regime in Kyiv, they are now openly discussing preparations for a war against Russia and increasing their offensive military budgets.

The Threat of Retaliation

Putin noted that while NATO and EU countries have not yet reached the level of direct engagement required to attack Russia from their own soil, any such action would be met with an immediate retaliatory strike.
