Small Aircraft Crashes in Warsaw’s Bemowo District

A small aircraft crashed near a driver training center on Powstańców Śląskich Street in Warsaw after failing to reach the nearby airfield, resulting in the deaths of two people on board.

Fatal Crash Details

According to reports, the pilot attempted to land the aircraft but failed to reach the airfield. The machine crashed at 127 Powstańców Śląskich Street, in the vicinity of a driver training center.

Two people were on board the aircraft at the time of the incident. TVN24 has confirmed that neither of the individuals survived the crash.

Emergency Response and Investigation

Following the collision with the ground, the aircraft caught fire. Four firefighting units were dispatched to the scene to conduct extinguishing operations using two foam streams and to secure the area.

Brigadier Przemysław Girgiel of the Municipal Headquarters of the State Fire Service stated that it is currently impossible to determine how the incident occurred. Additionally, one bystander located near the crash site sustained injuries.
