Ukrainian Flamingo Missiles Strike Russian Defense Plant in Volgograd

Ukrainian Flamingo missiles successfully struck the Titan-Barrikady defense plant in Volgograd, causing a major fire and resulting in one death and eleven injuries according to regional authorities.

Strategic Strike on Military Infrastructure

“Every Russian defense facility serving the war against Ukraine is a legitimate target for our long-range capabilities,” stated President Volodymyr Zelenskyy on Saturday. He confirmed the successful strike on the Titan-Barrikady plant, a major industrial complex that produces artillery systems, military equipment, and components for rocket launchers used in attacks against Ukraine.

Volgograd regional officials confirmed the damage to production facilities. The strike resulted in one fatality and eleven reported injuries.

Continued Aerial Assaults Across Ukraine

President Zelenskyy highlighted the scale of Russia’s ongoing offensive, noting that 15 Ukrainian regions have been targeted this week alone. Regular attacks continue to hit Kherson, Zaporizhzhia, Kharkiv, and Sumy, devastating civilian infrastructure and residential buildings.

According to presidential data, the past week saw the deployment of approximately 1,400 attack drones, nearly 1,500 guided aerial bombs, and 19 various missiles, including ballistic weaponry.

Long-Range Campaign Escalation

Two days prior, President Zelenskyy announced the approval of a 40-day “influence operation” aimed at compelling Russia to end the war. This follows recent long-range drone strikes on a fuel base in the Krasnodar Territory and two refineries in Ufa, located up to 1,500 kilometers from the front line.
