Circumstances of the crash
The accident occurred on the road connecting Jesionowo and Orzechowo. Two soldiers were inside the military Star truck when it veered off the road and overturned after striking a tree.
Emergency response and medical transport
State Fire Service and Volunteer Fire Service units were deployed to the scene. The two injured soldiers were transported to hospitals via ground ambulance and an air ambulance helicopter.
Ongoing investigation
While local police initially responded to the scene, the Military Gendarmerie has assumed control of the investigation. Fire crews remained on-site to secure the area until military investigators arrived.
