These offenses carry a penalty of up to three years in prison.

The investigation stems from a video shared online, recorded on a platform that connects random users for conversation. During the call, the suspect spoke with a Polish streamer, claiming he possessed a weapon intended for “killing dictators” and specifically identified President Karol Nawrocki. Police classified these statements as direct threats against the life of the president.

The suspect, who lacks a permanent address and holds an expired residence permit, was apprehended at his workplace. Prosecutor Antonowicz noted that authorities are currently investigating his legal status in Poland.
