Collision details and emergency response
The accident occurred around 2:30 p.m. at the 35th kilometer of the route near Kozielice. Four passenger cars were involved in the pileup, resulting in one fatality at the scene and three injuries.
Emergency services and police are currently operating on the section between My艣lib贸rz and Pyrzyc to investigate the exact circumstances of the incident.
Traffic diversions on the S3
The General Directorate for National Roads and Motorways (GDDKiA) confirmed that the roadway toward Szczecin remains blocked. Traffic has been diverted at the My艣lib贸rz junction toward provincial road 119, with vehicles able to rejoin the S3 at the Pyrzyce junction.
Additional incidents near Goleni贸w
Further traffic complications occurred north of Szczecin, where a vehicle traveling from Goleni贸w toward the Kliniska junction struck a crash barrier. According to Wirtualna Polska, two people were injured in this incident, and one lane was blocked.
GDDKiA estimated that the blockage in this location would last approximately two hours. Heavy traffic is also being reported on the S3 and S6 routes near Goleni贸w due to travelers returning from the coast.
